In March, 2016, we purchased PM Aviator 116’15. Unlike the first time we started out with purebreds, we have the great advantage of beginning this second herd with females that are the culmination of years of careful breeding. Everything that we were trying to achieve with our herd is represented in the heifers that we kept. More than ever before, we gave very careful consideration to the first bull we would use as a herd sire. The Aviator line provided everything we wanted – exceptional weaning weights and above average yearling weights while maintaining extremely high maternal traits and a nearly perfect body type – very thick, very deep, with good length and spectacular muscle development. We felt certain that this bull would complement our females very well and have not been disappointed – his calves are exceptional.
